Glass etching

I used my silhouette sd to cut the vinyl, then placed it on the glass. Put glass etching cream over open lettering, and washed off to get this result!

Vinyl on metal tin

I made this for when I get my classroom, for filing small notes in. The vinyl is cut with my silhouette sd.

Both names and the purple dots were cut with my silhouette sd.

Recycled cd's made into albums!!

Besides looking for sales at stores, if you are crafty you can recycle products in your own house. I made these albums from old cd's I don't use anymore. And from scraps of scrapbook paper I had on hand.

1 cent school supplies!

Ok, moms! The 1 cent school supplies are starting! Today, Staples is offering an 8-pack of pencils and copy paper for 1 cent (limit 2 per person). But they also have a lot of $1 items - 2 pack small scissors, 6-pack highlighters, 3-pack of pink erasers, white-out. Now is the time to start stocking up.

Some items are buy 1, get 1 free - Crayola markers, pack of pens, pack of black sharpies.

Wal-Mart has 24-pack of pencils for .84! I bought 5 packs, because 1 pack doesn't last very long!
